New Manchester High School Band Camp 2026
Get ready for an unforgettable season with the Mighty Marching Jaguars! Band Camp 2026 runs across four weeks this July. Below you'll find our full schedule, what to bring, and important policies for camp.
What to Bring
T-shirts (Plain White)
Shorts (Black)
Socks — TWO pair a day
Tennis shoes for the field — NO open-hole shoes
Sunscreen
Sunglasses
Hat (if desired)
Bug spray (for field use, if desired)
Your instrument and accessories
Woodwinds: at least 3 good working reeds (size #3) with all proper accessories
Brass: oil and mouthpiece, plus any other accessories you may use
Device for reading music (phone, tablet, or laptop — tablet or phone is best)
Lunch & snacks
Personal 1-gallon water cooler
Dress code note: No exposure of any parts of the body that should be covered will be allowed, per school rules and proper dress code. This is a school function and school rules apply at all times. No spaghetti strap shirts or tops, please.

Electronics Policy
Devices such as cell phones, iPods, tablets, game consoles, laptops, portable game devices, portable CD, MP3, tape, DVD, and other such media playing devices are all prohibited during rehearsal and group functions at camp. Cell phones are allowed to students only on break, but should be left at home as they will NOT be the responsibility of New Manchester High School, NMHS Band Boosters, Mr. McWhorter, or band staff to watch and care for such items. Parents please refrain from texting and/or calling your student during rehearsal.
Please call the band office, or designated adult contact, in cases of emergency.
